Work on hunger in your community
We believe that hunger is a violation of basic human rights. Having enough to eat is as important as being free from torture and slavery, and being guaranteed freedom of expression. There is still much to do, so we encourage you to start with your own community.
Get involved in the local food shelf, whether it's donating supplies or volunteering to answer the phones. If that feels like a lot, start with making a simple dinner for your neighbor. This will still make a difference.
