Who we are…
Just a Bunch of Roadies (JABOR) unites Live Events industry professionals in humanitarian and environmental relief efforts, leveraging our collective skills, resources, and connections to respond swiftly to critical needs.
Our industry takes us everywhere. Traditionally, we arrive in a city, build an event, and move on—rarely looking back. But today, we work in a world facing rising poverty, natural disasters, and urgent humanitarian crises. So, we chose to redefine our role.
We already have the essential tools to drive change: expertise in logistics, transportation, engineering, and problem-solving under pressure. JABOR was created to harness this potential—whether it's transporting large volumes of medical supplies, hospital equipment, and food to disaster zones worldwide, organizing shipments, or supporting food security initiatives here at home.
All of this reinforces our devotion both to quality work, and to each other as family within the live events industry—this makes us appealing to people who want to work hard and make a difference in the world. Strategic Direction
Goal 1: Always Leave It Better
JABOR aims to actively engage and support humanitarian relief and environmental stewardship efforts around the world. We mobilize industry partners and help them to create projects that likewise meet this mission. Together with our industry partners, JABOR facilitates these humanitarian and environmental engagements, provides grants for unique projects, and shares impactful stories to further drive awareness and support for our collective mission and vision.
Goal 2: Be The Best We Can Be
JABOR aspires to increase the Live Event industry’s collective capacity to make a difference in the world. We wish to instill a shared values system that is built on compassion and empathy, and to link together like-minded people and organizations in a fashion that is strategically proactive and adeptly responds to circumstances as they emerge. JABOR’s agile crew collaborates with our passionate network of industry partners to deliver high-impact services and resources for projects at home and abroad.
Goal 3: Supporting Our People
JABOR seeks to inspire the “next generation” to become a part of the Live Events industry and to involve them in JABOR’s mission. We are committed to introducing individuals to diverse career opportunities within the Live Events industry, while also creating pathways for meaningful contributions to society. Our focus is on coordinating workforce pipeline events and cultivating robust support for aspiring professionals, including mentorship, stipends, scholarships, and opportunities to give back to the world.
