We empower individuals to connect with organizations that provide essential services at disaster sites, such as supplies and reconstruction assistance. While JABOR mobilizes during the vital later stages following initial responses by government and larger emergency agencies, our transportation support plays a key role in delivering donations to loading and storage areas. JABOR offers mini grants to roadies who walk to the end of their driveway and start their own humanitarian aid or environmental sustainability projects.
JABOR encourages roadies and smaller industry organizations to develop and manage their own grassroots humanitarian aid and environmental sustainability initiatives. We are particularly interested in projects that focus on, but are not limited to, children, food security, poverty, health, and mental health. We also strongly support programs aimed at inspiring and attracting the next generation of industry professionals.
JABOR’s Future Creator’s program engages young people in career exploration and hands-on service activities with local roadie crews in the Live Event Industry.
At JABOR, we prioritize building a workforce that is not only highly skilled but also passionate about service and dedicated to making a positive impact. In line with this mission, service activities will play a central role in these Career Exploration events. Participants may assist in sorting and packing medical supplies, or volunteer at local food banks and shelters, for example.
