JABOR Connects Individuals to Valuable Resources

JABOR is dedicated to empowering the Live Events workforce, recognizing that a strong, healthy workforce is essential to the success and growth of the field. We connect people to educational programs, training opportunities and networking events, and offer personal support resources to promote individual development and well-being—ultimately enhancing the vitality of the entire industry.

THE Conference: Live at Lititz is dedicated to offering opportunities for both current and future live-event professionals to learn, connect and grow within a supportive community.

THE Conference: Live at Lititz was founded by industry pioneers Charlie Hernandez from JABOR, Jake Berry, Marty Hom, and Stuart Ross, in collaboration with Andrea Shirk of Rock Lititz. THE Conference has seen tremendous growth over its first three years. Participation continues to rise, with 130 speakers and over 1,000 attendees in 2024. The 2025 event will take place from December 9-11.

THE Conference was created with a commitment to four key principles: crafting engaging and actionable content, amplifying diverse voices and experiences, supporting words with tangible actions, and providing personalized, inclusive, and accessible social opportunities for all.

One of the main goals of the conference is to welcome and empower the next generation of industry professionals. Another central theme focuses on mental health and well-being within the live-events sector. JABOR’s emphasis on contributing to a greater cause and making a positive impact on the world is also a cornerstone of the event.

JABOR’s scholarship fund aims to support aspiring roadies in the live events industry by providing financial assistance for educational and professional development opportunities.

The Lori Tierney and John Campion Memorial Fund is dedicated to enhancing the skills, knowledge, and career prospects of individuals who work behind the scenes to ensure the success of live events. It is a meaningful initiative by JABOR to honor the legacies of two influential figures in the organization’s history, Lori Tierney and John Campion. It strives to build on Lori and John’s moral compass, and to continue their legacy of promoting integrity, compassion, and a sense of community.

JABOR supports the mental health and well-being of roadies by offering modest funds to those who require assistance but cannot afford to access it.

One of JABOR’s core intentions is to support the mental health and well-being of roadies themselves. These are the hardworking individuals who play a vital role behind the scenes, ensuring the success of each live event performance. But despite their invaluable contributions, roadies often face unique challenges, including mental health struggles, depression, anxiety, substance abuse challenges, financial instability, and limited access to healthcare.
